We are a small, dedicated team of passionate and motivated professional who love what we do. We strive to bring the enjoyment of outdoor play and openspaces to more people and communities in Ontario. We work closely with our clients and partners and would like to be available and involved in your project.
Janet Elliott
President
My career in the parks and playground industry started in 1989 where I evolved to handling the sales of all plastic components for the majority of primary manufacturers in North America. I then turned my efforts to launching Recreation Playsystems in 2000, where I spent a large part of my career. In 2012 I launched Openspace; it is where I invest my passions, time and efforts, while leveraging my knowledge and skills to provide improved outdoor play to people and communities across Ontario.

General Manager
With nearly three decades working in sales and management, I have a broad range of experience. In 2013, After 5 years as a GM of a multi-national company I finally made my move to Openspace where I function in a similar capacity, and assists the team and working with partners to ensure quality and results.

A graduate of Wilfred Laurier University in 2015 I have been a part of the Openspace team since. An OPA playground Practitioner with AODA, I enjoy working with customers to make their park visions a reality, while covering details to ensure the best possible experience through exceptional pre to post sales services.
Eric Nadeau

An OPA playground and OPA accessibility practitioner, I studied Marketing and have been working within the industry for almost a decade. I joined Openspace in 2012 where I dedicate myself to applying creative solutions to help bring play to communities all across Ontario.
We are a passionate team, and since we work hard we also play hard.
