06 Mar DREAM PLAYGROUND
It was great fun to ask a class full of grade two kids what they would want their dream playground to look like. The question quickly evolved into a arts and craft exercise where kids could imagine, create, then share with us their thoughts and why. It gave adults such insight into what these kids wanted and why and will allow us another train of thought when it comes to the design of a playground and playspace.
We will be scanning in these great drawings and sharing them.
For schools and communities who want to involve children in the process, we would recommend this exercise, and also send the drawings to us, we would love to post up the wonderful work and allow kids and parents a place to go to view online their work and justify their involvement.
